Thousands of protesters have been staging a sit-in for three weeks outside military headquarters in Khartoum and say they will not go home until military leaders immediately hand over power to civilian rule.
While the resignation of three members of the ruling military council triggered jubilation among the protesters, the release of several members of former President Omar al-Bashir’s government aroused their anger.
The feeling in Khartoum is that the military council has been hoping the protesters will become disappointed and go home, but so far, the demonstrators have refused to disperse.
Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Adow reports from Khartoum.

  1. Everyone hates corrupt military.
Some folk support political corruption eg :-
S Africa the ANC people always celebrate their corrupt leaders.
Palestine : Arafat stole $3billion and they still worship him
Russia : nationalists believe Putin (as deputy mayor) wasn’t in on the theft of $98 million.
