Access to social media has reportedly been blocked amid violent protests in Zimbabwe. This follows threats by that country’s government to cut internet early this week. Citizens took to the streets over an announcement by President Emmerson Mnangagwa to double fuel prices at the weekend. Protests has left numbers of people dead and more injured.
